- The program runs from August 1, 2025, to July 31, 2027, with a budget of nearly ₹1 lakh crore.
- The scheme aims to create over 3.5 crore new jobs during its two-year duration, with a special focus on first-time employees in the private sector.
- First-time private sector workers who register with the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) are eligible for an incentive of up to ₹15,000.
- This amount is paid in two installments: the first after six months of employment and the second after 12 months.
- Businesses that hire new employees are provided an incentive of up to ₹3,000 per new employee per month.
- The scheme is implemented by the Ministry of Labour & Employment through the EPFO.
