Assam launched Mukhyamantri Nijut Moina 2.0
- Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma today launched the Mukhya Mantrir Nijut Moina 2.0 scheme, a flagship initiative aimed at promoting girls’ enrolment in higher education through monthly financial assistance.
- The Nijut Moina scheme is designed to empower girls and reduce dropout rates by providing consistent financial support, enabling them to pursue education from the Higher Secondary level to postgraduate studies.
- Girls from all families, regardless of economic status, are eligible for the scheme.
