Telangana Police conducted Operation Muskaan-XI

  • Operation Muskaan-XI was a large-scale child rescue mission conducted by the Telangana Police specifically the Women Safety Wing, to combat child labour, trafficking, and exploitation from July 1 to July 31, 2025, to locate and rescue missing children involved in child labour, begging, and hazardous situations. 
  • The operation successfully rescued 7,678 children, including many from other states and Nepal. 
  • The operation involved coordinated efforts with multiple departments, including the Women Development and Child Welfare, Labour, and Health departments, along with NGOs and child protection units.
